The utilization rate of lime in industry is very high. After processing, lime can be mixed into lime paste, lime water, lime slurry, etc. In addition, it can also be used as coating, adhesive, etc. in the construction industry. Since lime has so many functions, what is the production process of lime?
- Crushing: The limestone is evenly fed into the crusher by a vibrating feeder. After one or two crushing and shaping, and after grading and screening by a vibrating screen, large pieces of materials with different particle sizes are returned to the secondary crusher through a conveyor belt for re-crushing, and the finished products are transported to the finished product area by a belt conveyor.
- Calcination: The crushed limestone is introduced into the preheater body through the discharge chute of the top silo of the preheater. At the same time, the high-temperature flue gas introduced from the lime rotary kiln preheats the material to more than 800℃, causing the limestone to partially decompose. Then, it is pushed into the tail of the lime rotary kiln by the hydraulic push rod in turn, and unloaded into the cooler after high-temperature calcination in the lime rotary kiln. The material is cooled by the cold air blown in by the fan and discharged from the cooler to an ambient temperature below 60℃. The air blown in through the cooler enters the lime rotary kiln as secondary air to participate in combustion.
- Grinding: The materials after crushing and calcination need to be ground. The steel balls inside the mill are squeezed and acted on by gravity during the ball milling process, which not only meets the needs of grinding but also meets the needs of batching.
- Finished product transportation: After the finished lime is discharged from the cooler, it is transported to the lime silo by a combination of conveyor and bucket elevator.
