The plate hammer of the impact sand making machine hits the input material from bottom to top and throws it onto the impact plate above; while the hammer head of the hammer crusher hits the material in the direction of the material falling. Since the plate hammer of the impact sand making machine is fixed on the rotor, and there is an impact device and a larger crushing space, it can make more use of the impact effect and make full use of the rotor energy. Therefore, its power and metal consumption per unit output are less than those of hammer and other crushers.

Since the impact sand making machine mainly uses the kinetic energy obtained by the material for impact and crushing, it has greater work adaptability. Because the degree of material crushing is directly proportional to its own mass, large pieces of material are crushed to a greater extent, while small pieces of material will not be crushed to a smaller extent. The product particle size is uniform and the crushing ratio is relatively large. It can be used as a coarse, medium and fine crushing machine for materials.
Under the conditions of the same feed particle size and production capacity, its mass coefficient is much larger than that of other crushers. At the same time, adjusting the speed of the rotor will sensitively affect the particle size of the product. The impact sand making machine does not have upper and lower grate screens, so the product particle size is generally more than 5 to 10 mm. Most hammer crushers have bottom grate bars, so the product particle size is smaller and more uniform.
Only 8 plate hammers are installed on the rotor of the impact sand making machine, and it only takes one shift to replace a set of plate hammers. It only takes tens of minutes to replace the grinding rods in the bottom grinding chamber, which reduces the time and cost of overhaul and maintenance. The hammer crusher has more than 100 hammers, and replacing a set of hammers takes a lot of time and manpower, and the overhaul and maintenance costs are high. It is also extremely troublesome to replace the bottom screen plate.
